Flax can be found by harvesting the flax plants in either Bramblemead Valley, Fractured Plains, or Stormtouched Highlands. It can be used on the Spinning Wheel to create Coarse Thread. Collecting flax for the first time unlocks the creation of the Spinning Wheel and Fletching Bench.

Flax was a popular plant during the time of Guthix. Found all over the continent, it could be easily harvested and refined into various materials. Villagers would enjoy the seeds as tasty snacks, but they mostly prized Flax for the threads that could be woven from the stems of the plant.
