Weapon Barbs are an item unlocked at level 22 Ranged, allowing players to either craft Barbed Arrows or imbue their held melee weapon (except for basic tools such as axes or pickaxes) with the Bleed debuff for two minutes.

Sometimes, you just really want to hurt something. It happens. We each have that little voice that tells us to make something bleed, just a little.

Well, blacksmiths thought to themselves, "what if we listen to that voice?" and created these little doohickies. Barbs for your weapons, so that they may tear, rend and otherwise force your opponents to bleed with every strike.
