Rasthin
Rasthin was a female Necrosyrte dragonkin who settled in Ashenfall alongside Lacrussa, Brakka, Viika, and Avisk. Rasthin is known for advocating patience among the dragonkin settlers of Ashenfall, her mastery of fire, and her magnificent, ornate robes. She ruled over subjects who regarded her with both devotion and fear.
History
[edit | edit source]Rasthin was part of a group of dragonkin who traveled to Ashenfall seeking freedom from their kin. As recorded in dragonkin writings found in vaults across the continent, they escaped persecution, particularly the hunt for Lacrussa's sibling, the seer Viika.
Upon arriving at Ashenfall, Rasthin and the other dragonkin discovered the continent's remarkable properties. The land was abundant with energy that seeped into stone, trees, water, and air, transforming creatures with elemental and primal energies. These discoveries helped the dragonkin establish a new home on the continent.
Rasthin was known for her distinctive personal style and mastery of fire. She was "particularly fond of stitching elaborate filigree into her robes", using threads woven with precious metals and gemstones. These ornate garments would "sparkle and glitter as she flew across the realm," creating a magnificent spectacle that impressed onlookers.
When Rasthin "brought forward her flames," observers would marvel at the display. Her appearance in the sky, glittering with precious metals and gemstones, inspired both devotion and fear in her subjects.
