Description
Throw your items down and repair them instantly through the power of Nature Magic.

Magical Mending is a spell that will partially repair weapons, tools, or armour placed on the floor in its area of effect by adding half of the durability back into the equipment. This does not consume resources to do so, other than the runes to cast the spell. It will affect all targetable equipment in range. Upon completion of the spell, the equipment will be placed back into the closest player's inventory automatically if possible. Be careful attempting to use it in a dangerous area as the gear will rarely be in the same inventory spots as before, and will need time sorting and re-equipping.

Skilled craftspeople are worth their weight in gold. The ability to repair broken equipment, and weaponry, was a core part of any craftsperson's trade. But, in the wilds of Ashenfall, such trades lacked the excitement and adventure of more whimsical professions. Hunters, warriors and druids, were the roles that everyone wanted, and so it was that fewer and fewer apprentices took up the hammer. As such, smiths would focus on creating new equipment, and tools, leaving repairs on the backburner for sometimes weeks at a time.

Frustrated, the druids created a solution to this problem. Using a variation on the ritual that preserved wood, timber, and stone, the druids could turn back the clock on a piece of equipment, returning it to a healthier state.

Over time, more people began to favour less deadly professions, and the spell would be used in only the most dire situations.
