It were meant to be lots of us and lots of the humans, and then we were meant to skewer the beastmen on the end of our spears. Big high war god was gonna be real pleased with us all, and then we were gonna have a feast.
Instead we’re the feast!
That’s not fair. That’s not how it meant to work.
There I was, chasing down a beastman runt, when a great walloping dragon comes outa nowhere and lands on the goblin boss man. Squashes him into jelly, and not the good kind with bits of fruit – the bad kind, with bits of chieftain. Then, dragon goes for the rest of us, breathes a great big jet of fire which turns all of me friends into charcoal.
When did dragons work with beastmen?

What did dragons? Huh?
Thinking make my head hurt.
Sod this, I’m gonna go hide in a cave til it all goes away. Goblins good at hiding in caves. Probably nothing bad in caves."
